WHO IS?
WHO IS?
WHO IS?
This was the site of Sam Turnell. Wait, me. My site. I'm Sam Turnell. Doesn't writing bios stink. Who are you? Who am I? What's with the sudden third degree? I only wanted to show the projects I've been involved in. Leave me alone. Hold on, no, don't, stay. Come back.
As previously mentioned, I am a Creative Producer who has been helping create 360° campaigns for Sky, working across their sports and entertainment teams. I like music, long walks, comedy, breathing and films. I also like working in a team to battle a challenge and to research how best to solve it. Give me a task that involves setting up a complicated shoot, with hundreds of cast including, I don't know, a very specific breed of Bolivian mountain goat; I'll be happy. Give me a smaller shoot with a prima donna packet of biscuits. I'll be equally as happy, if not more so should I get to have a bite after. But, let's face it, they'll probably be a made out of plasticine and I stopped eating that years ago.
My experience has been varied, from full scale VFX jobs representing the rollercoaster ride that is F1, to special installation builds with creepy dolls to launch an adaptation of The Midwich Cuckoos, to bespoke music tracks made entirely out of tennis sounds. I also write articles, scripts, and music reviews and have developed a few documentaries. Please drop me an email if you have a project I can help with.
